GENEVA, Ohio- The La Salle women's swimming and diving team had four swimmers qualify for finals in their respective events during Friday morning's preliminaries at the A-10 Championships.
Kelsey Jenkinson finished 6th in the 100-yard breaststroke prelim (1:04.08) to earn a spot in tonight's final heat.
Chelsey Curran tied for 8
th with Duquesne's Hallie McCue in the 100-yard backstroke, with both swimmers clocking a 56.96. McCue then edged Curran by .23 seconds in the swim-off, sending the senior to the consolation final. Fellow senior
Amina Wilson finished 11th (57.10) for a chance to swim tonight.
Sarah Finn clipped 2.89 seconds from her seed time to finish 12
th (1:52.00) in the 200-yard freestyle to earn a spot in the consolation final.
Tonight's finals will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with the 400-yard IM.
