The Explorers struggled from the field, shooting 18-for-61 (29.5%), and on the glass, losing the rebound battle 46-34.
Freshman
Johnnie Shuler came off the bench to hit two three-pointers late.
Fordham (9-17, 4-11 A-10) was led by Jon Severe and Bryan Smith, who each had 15 points. Chris Sengfelder had 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Ryan Rhoomes added 13 boards.
La Salle (15-13, 7-8 A-10) returns home on Saturday to host Rhode Island at 12:30 PM on NBC Sports Network.
