BRONX, N.Y. – Fordham went on a 11-2 run late in the first half and never looked back in a 63-48 victory over La Salle on Wednesday night at Rose Hill Gymnasium. Redshirt sophomore Jordan Price led all scorers with 16 points. Senior Jerrell Wright added 11 points.
 
"I thought it was our worst game of the year," head coach Dr. John Giannini said.  "Fordham was terrific. They were in control the whole way."
 
The Explorers struggled from the field, shooting 18-for-61 (29.5%), and on the glass, losing the rebound battle 46-34.
 
Freshman Johnnie Shuler came off the bench to hit two three-pointers late.
 
Fordham (9-17, 4-11 A-10) was led by Jon Severe and Bryan Smith, who each had 15 points. Chris Sengfelder had 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Ryan Rhoomes added 13 boards.
 
La Salle (15-13, 7-8 A-10) returns home on Saturday to host Rhode Island at 12:30 PM on NBC Sports Network.
