SAINT LOUIS – The La Salle baseball team fell to the Saint Louis Billikens 11-1 in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at the Billikens Sports Center.
Freshman
Chase Arnold drove in La Salle's only run with an RBI double in the top of the 8
th.
Justin Korenblatt finished 2-for-3 as the Explorers had eight hits on the afternoon.

Jordan Meyer (L, 1-3) was charged with seven runs (five earned) over four innings of work before four Explorer relievers combined for the final five innings. SLU starter Clay Smith (W, 4-0) tossed six shutout innings for the Billikens, scattering five hits and two walks while striking out five.
The Billikens got out to a 3-0 lead in the 2
nd on three hits and five errors and added a run 3
rd before taking a commanding lead with a five-run 5
th inning.
The Explorers return home next weekend to host Saint Bonaventure for a three-game series at Hank DeVincent Field beginning on Friday.
