PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle track and field program heads to Lehigh for the Lehigh Games for their final meet before the Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend at George Mason.

The Explorers will compete in 15 different events over the course of the two day event with 26 athletes from La Salle competing.

The action gets started on Friday afternoon with the men's javelin throw. Senior
Michael Santeramo will compete in the 20 man field. Santeramo threw 51.35 meters last weekend at the Larry Ellis Princeton Invitational.

Also representing La Salle in field events are sophomore
Amber Jackson and freshman
Kenneth Worthington. Jackson will compete in both the long and triple jumps which have 27 and 17 entries respectively. Jackson is coming off a 4.79m distance in the long jump last weekend and the week before had a 10.85 meter triple jump finish. Worthington will represent La Salle in the high jump with 16 total entries. His college best in the high jump was a 2.00 meters at the Yale Giegengack Invitational.

Five Explorers are entered in the men's 1500 meter run field of 63. Sophomores
Ryan Magnus and
Nick Lefavor, juniors
Rodrigo Nunez and Tim Flanagan and freshman
Nick Smart will run for La Salle. Of the group Smart has the fastest time on the season having run a 3:56.10 at the Larry Ellis Princeton Invitational.

A pair of freshman in Alex Moraschi and Katie Poiesz and senior
Taylor Hackett will run in the women's 1500 meter field of 68. Poiesz ran a 4:39.24 at the Colonial Relays while Hackett has a fast time of 4:42.54 from the Mason Spring Invitational this spring.

The men's 800 meter run will feature six La Salle athletes in sophomores
Gregory Dix,
Dallas Penny,
Dan Rosenblatt and
Cris Hunter, freshman Joseph Leconey, and junior Alex Gallo. Leconey owns the fast time of the group thanks to a 1:59.38 run at the Widener Invitational.

Senior Alexandra Guntle is entered in the 62 women field for the 800 meter run. Guntle owns a fast time of 2:51.06 which she ran at the Rider Invite in early April.

Freshman Matthew Knoll is entered in two events for the Explorers competing in the 100 meter dash with 21 total entries and the 200 meter dash with 24 total competitors. Knoll has a fast 100 meter time of 11.77 from the Colonial Relays and a 200 meter dash time of 24.60 from the Rider Invite.

Two Explorers are entered in the women's 400 meters with senior
Britteni Simpson and freshman
Amber Jenkins. Jenkins owns a fast time of 1:01.64 ran at the Rider Invite while Simpson ran a 1:04.20 at the Widener Invitational this season. Jenkins will also run in the women's 200 meter dash owning a fast time of 26.68 at the Rider Invitational.

Nick Della Vecchia and freshman
Michael Hagan will be in the 19 man field for the 400 meter hurdles. Della Vecchia owns a fast time of 58.61 and Hagan 1:00.78 at the Larry Ellis Princeton Invitational earlier this season.

Freshman
Trent Mangold is one of just two entries in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase. This will be the first time collegiately he has ran the distance in the steeplechase but has a 6:45.28 time in the 2000 meter steeplechase at the Stony Brook Spring Opener.

Senior
Katie Boligitz will run in the women's 5000 meter steeplechase along with 24 total competitors. This will be Boligitz first collegiate steeplechase but she is coming off an 18:57.53 time in the 5000 meters at the Colonial Relays.

The Explorers head to Fairfax, Virginia next weekend for the 2015 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships.Â
