PHILADELPHIA - Recent La Salle graduate
Greg Goodreds has been named to the Philadelphia Inquirer/Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Golf team, it was announced today. The team is selected by the 28 sports information offices of the greater Philadelphia area.
Goodreds finished his senior season with a 77.96 stroke average, including a low round of 71. He had two top 10 finishes, including a ninth place finish at La Salle's own Finegan Invitational after shooting a 74-71=145.
He graduated in May with a 3.40 grade point average as a marketing major.
Neumann's Brandon Gagne was voted the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Golf Performer of the Year. Joining Gagne and Goodreds is Yoseph Dance of Drexel, Scott Potter of Rutgers-Camden, and Villanova's Luke Waggoner.
