PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle lacrosse team continued its tradition of academic excellence this past spring as the team was announced today as a 2015 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Assocation (IWLCA) Honor Squad.

The Explorers join 82 other Division I squads and a total of 216 teams across all divisions with the recognition, thanks to a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

La Salle is also one of seven Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse squads to earn the honor, along with Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, Massachusetts, Richmond and Saint Joseph's.
