PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team travels to take on the Princeton Tigers on Wednesday night before heading down Broad Street to clash with Temple on Friday afternoon.
Scouting the Explorers- La Salle looks to continue winning after a 2-0 showing last week, earning road wins over Navy and regionally-ranked James Madison.
-Senior
Fia Jonsson earned Co-Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after tallying six points last week, including the game-winning goal against the Dukes on Sunday. The senior had previously assisted Markykate Bateman's equalizer in the 47th minute. Against Navy on Friday, Jonsson assisted the game-winner before adding an insurance goal in a 2-0 victory.
-Freshman
Marcela Robinson was named A-10 Rookie of the Week after helping anchor a defense that allowed just one goal last week. Robinson and the Explorers shutout Navy before holding James Madison to just one score and three shots on goal, snapping a four-game winning streak.
-After scoring just one goal over three games to open the season, La Salle has scored seven times in the last four games.-Sixteen different Explorers have registered starts on the season, and five have started all seven games. Robinson is the only freshman to have started every game.
-The Explorers are third in the Atlantic 10 in goals allowed with seven through seven games.

Scouting the Tigers-Princeton snapped a three-game skid with a 3-1 win at Villanova Sunday.
-Junior Tyler Lussi notched her team-best third goal of the season Sunday at Villanova. She's got 31 for her career, fifth-most in Princeton history.
-The Tigers average 2.17 goals per game this season despite being shut out twice (Rutgers, Delaware), thanks in part to a 6-0 win over Howard in the season opener.
-The Tigers have already played two Atlantic 10 teams this year, winning 2-1 at Fordham and falling 3-2 to Duquesne at home.
-Thirteen Tigers have started a game this season with seven players starting all six games. Freshman Mimi Asom is the only rookie to start all six games.
-Princeton head coach Sean Driscoll is in his first season at Princeton after serving as the head coach at Manhattan College from 2005-09.
-The Explorers have played Princeton annually since 2011, with the record squared at 1-1-2 over that span.

Scouting the Owls-The Owls finished up a 2-0 week with a 4-1 win over Binghamton on Sunday after defeating New Hampshire 4-0 on the road on Friday.
-Erin Lafferty was named Defensive Player of the Week by the American Athletic Conference last week. The senior helped TU's defensive blank New Hampshire and also recorded an assist before recording her second multi-goal game of the season on Sunday.
-Senior Kelly Farrell, who leads the conference in scoring with eight goals, was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after scoring three goals (two against New Hampshire and one against Binghamton) and adding an assist against Binghamton.
-Elana Falcone leads the Owls with three assists this season after missing the entire 2014 campaign due to injury.
-Temple has one common opponent with the Explorers this season in Lehigh, who the Explorers defeated 2-1 on August 3. The Mountain Hawks topped the Owls on 3-2 in overtime three days later.
