SAN FRANCISCO- The La Salle men's soccer team couldn't overcome an early deficit as they fell 5-1 to the San Francisco Dons at Negoesco Field on Sunday evening. 
The Dons charged out to a quick 3-0 lead, getting on the board with a Davi Ramos goal in the 13th minute. Ramos added a second goal on a long free kick in the 16th minute to put USF in front 2-0. 
Aaron Lombardi pushed the lead to 3-0 in the 21st minute before the Explorers answered in the 39th minute. La Salle's 
Tony Daniele punched in a penalty kick to make it a 3-1 game after USF keeper Andre Glasnovic drew a yellow card on a foul in the box. 
USF pushed the lead back to three in the 70th minute with a goal from Santiago Digiuseppe before Lombardi punched in a rebound of a save in the 74th minute to make it 5-1. 
The Explorers put five shots on goal against Glasnovic, who made four saves, and controlled corner kicks 7-2.   
The Explorers return home on Saturday as they host the Siena Saints at McCarthy Stadium at 1 PM.
