PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team completes a three-game road trip against the Richmond Spiders on Thursday night before returning to McCarthy Stadium to host Saint Louis for Senior Day on Sunday.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle was 0-1-1 last week, tying Dayton 1-1 at Baujan Field on Thursday before VCU scored in double overtime to steal a victory at Sports Backers Stadium on Sunday.
-Junior
Kristin Haugstad tallied her first goal of the season on Thursday, heading a ball past Dayton keeper Kaelyn Johns after assists from
Danielle Marx and
Maci Bower.
-Bower sits tied with
Deja Davis for the team lead in points with seven. Bower has three goals and an assist while Davis has two goals and three helpers.
-
Larisa Zambelli and the La Salle back line have been stingy since the beginning of league play, allowing just five goals in six games against conference opponents for a 0.72 goals-against average.

-Richmond returns home after an 0-2 week on the road, with losses coming at Saint Joseph's on Thursday and George Washington on Sunday.
-Junior forward Lexi Prillaman is second in the Atlantic 10 with 25 points, and tied for second in the league with 10 goals.
-Freshman Brooke Beam was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week on October 10, marking the second straight week that a UR newcomer took home the conference honor. Freshman keeper Carlie Blessing was selected as the A-10 Rookie of the Week on October 3.

Scouting the Billikens
-Saint Louis is 5-0 in October after tying Dayton on September 29 to open A-10 play. SLU beat Fordham 1-0 at home last Thursday before a 1-0 win in overtime at St. Bonaventure on Sunday.
-Saint Louis goalkeeper Mary Niehaus was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Atlantic 10 on Monday after registering two 1-0 shutouts last week. The junior tallied a career-high seven saves vs. Fordham and made three stops at St. Bonaventure.
-SLU leading scorer Danielle Tolmais is tied for fifth in the league with eight goals and sits at eighth in the league with 18 points.
-The Billikens are unbeaten since a 3-1 defeat at SMU on September 16.
-SLU is in the midst of a three-game road trip, and will visit Saint Joseph's on Thursday before capping the trip at McCarthy on Sunday.
