PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's rowing team had a pair of entries take part in the Navy Day Regatta on Schuykill River this past weekend.
The men's junior varsity eight boat of
Elijah Allis,
Mike Gormley,
Waleed Omar,
Zach LaBarth,
Bob Noga,
Nathan Durso,
Bassem Omar and
Isaac Prentice placed 13th, defeating a boat from Penn State.
The men's varsity eight of
Grant Maddock,
Jake Fabel,
Kieran Hughes,
Jack Mischak,
Josh Brooks,
Kyle Adams,
Evan Horvath,
Scott Dunn, and
Ryan Fisher concluded its row in 22nd place out of 32 boats. The Explorers bested teams from Penn State, Lehigh, Saint Joseph's and Rutgers.
La Salle returns to the water on Oct. 22-23 at the Head of the Charles in Massachusetts.
