PHILADELPHIA - The Men's Water Polo team (3-9) wrapped up its regular season on Friday evening with a home game against Mercyhurst. The Explorers kept it close but ultimately fell, 13-8.
Jacquez Stewart led the team in scoring in his first game of the season with three goals.
Jeff Brady and
Alex Pitcher each contributed two goals. Brady also led the team with two steals.
Joey DeFusco and Tom Cionci had one assist each.
Joel Gibson joined Pitcher and Stewart as the team leaders with four shots on goal.
In net,
Jacob Klingsberg was brilliant with five saves.
Next up, the Explorers travel to Erie to face Connecticut College in the first round of the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Western Tournament on Saturday, November 5 at 12:30.
