APALACHIN, N.Y. - La Salle freshman
Evan Gaesser shot a career-best two-under 70 to move into a tie for 16th place at the Binghamton Invitational, which concluded on Monday. His 72-70=142 (-2) is a new 36-hole record by an Explorer freshman, besting his 143 he shot earlier this season at Bucknell. The 142 is also the second best 36-hole score in program history behind John Lorenzo's 139 in 2006.
Sophomore
Andrew Reynolds carded a 74 (+2) on Monday to tie for 21st with a 143 (-1). The 143 is the fifth best two-round score in the La Salle record book.
Senior
P.J. Acierno shot 75-74=149 (+5) to tie for 54th while sophomore
Nick Gruber tied for 59th with a 77-74=151 (+7) and junior
Brandon Raihl shot a 73-79=152 (+8) to tie for 66th.
As a team, La Salle shot 292 (+4) on Monday and finished in 11th place.Â
