PRINCETON, N.J. - The Men's Water Polo team delivered a valient effort, but ultimately fell to No. 16 George Washington by a score of 16-8. The Colonials are considered one of the top teams in the nation and had only given up eight or more goals to an opposing team four times this season before Saturday.
In the game, a trio of Explorers scored two goals:
Alex Pitcher,
Joel Gibson, and
Jeff Brady.
Joey DeFusco and Johann Orazco each netted one.
Jacob Klingsberg led the defensive effort with six saves in goal and two blocks when playing the field.
