PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team will look to make a quick turnaround as they visit Big 5 foe Temple on Monday evening at 5 PM at McGonigle Hall.

Temple holds a slight 25-21 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to the program's inaugural season (1972-73).
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle is looking to bounce back from a 56-49 loss to Lafayette at home on Friday night.
-Junior
Amy Griffin tallied a game-best 16 points in the loss while also corralling nine rebounds. Senior
Jasmine Alston finished with five points, but tallied game-highs with 10 rebounds and seven assists.
-Alston also had six steals as La Salle forced 27 Leopard turnovers. The effort ties Alston with Ashley Gale (2007-11) for 5
th on the all-time steals leaderboard with 200.

Micahya Owens and
Adreana Miller each finished with 10 points. Owens now has 1,251 career points, and needs just 29 points to tie Ellen Malone (1978-82) for 13
th place on the all-time scoring list.
Scouting the Owls
-Temple opened the 2016-17 season with an 86-70 victory on the road at Saint Joseph's on Friday night, snapping a four-game losing streak against the Hawks.
-The Owls return four double-digit scorers from last year's 23-12 team that advanced to the WNIT Quarterfinals. Leading the way is junior Alliya Butts, who averaged 15.1 points per game last season on the way to All-Big 5 and All-AAC honors. Senior Feyonda Fitzgerald led the Owls in assists (5.31 per game) while averaging 13.6 points per contest.
-Tanaya Atkinson (13.0 ppg last season) and Donnaizha Fountain (10.4 ppg last season) topped the team in scoring and rebounding on Friday as Atkinson finished with 24 points and seven boards while Fountain tallied 20 points and eight rebounds.
-Fitzgerald notched 16 points while Butts added 12 points to round out the double-figure scorers from the opener.
