ERIE - The Men's Water Polo team played in its final competition of the year on Sunday, falling twice in the consolation ladder at the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Western Tournament.

In the first game, the Explorers lost to Monmouth, 13-11. Alex Pitcher led the team in scoring with four goals. Joey DeFusco and Joel Gibson had three goals each while Johann Orozco chipped in one.

La Salle then fell to Washington and Jefferson, 23-6. DeFusco led in scoring with three goals. Pitcher, Orozco, and Jacob Camacho score once.

The Blue and Gold had to play undermanned in both games due to injury, including two men down in the second game.
