KINGSTON, R.I.- The La Salle women's track and field team heads to Mackal Field House on the campus of the University of Rhode Island for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships beginning Saturday.

The women will compete in ten individual event as well as four relays over the course of the two day championship.
Â
Freshman
Megan Connell enters the 5000 meter field of 29 as the second seed thanks to a 17:32.43 run at the Giegengack Invitational. She will be joined by senior
Kaylie McNally and junior
Olivia Boyer.
Â
Connell, McNally and Boyer return for the 3000m in the 31 women field. Connell is the top seed of the group in 11
th with a time of 10:09.59 for the event which will be ran Sunday afternoon.

Freshman
Kaitlin Poiesz is seeded fifth out of 18 entries in the mile. Poiesz has a seed time of 4:59.39 and the event and will be joined by senior
Rebecca Scardelletti and the event will be run as the first running event on Sunday.

Freshman
Kaleah Miller is the top seed in the long jump field of 19 and she will be joined in the event by junior
Amber Jackson. Miller has a seed of 5.76m for the event which takes place Saturday afternoon. Jackson and Miller will also both compete in the triple jump which takes place Sunday morning.

Sophomore
Ifetayo Tyler enters as La Salle's top seed in the 800m field of 21. Tyler is seeded 10
th with a seed time of 2:16.04 and will be joined by junior
Sara Dever in the event.

Senior
Kate Conville and freshman
Emily Ward enter the 23 women field for the 1000m. Conville is seeded 11
th with a time of 2:59.23 for the event which has trials beginning Saturday afternoon.

Junior
Mone't Gist and freshman
Krista Forbes enter the 60m hurdles field of 16. Gist is the higher of the two seeds with a 9.05 time. Hurdles get underway Sunday around noon.

Gist returns for the 60m dash and will be joined by freshman
Ariel Mitchell and sophomore
Amber Jenkins. Mitchell is the highest seed of the group in ninth out of 26 entries with a 7.83 second time. Trials occur Saturday afternoon. Mitchell returns for the 200m dash in the 25 women field which has trials later on Saturday.

La Salle has entries in three relay events with teams in the 4x400m, 4x800m and the distance medley relay.
