NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - La Salle freshman golfer Andrew Reynolds has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, it was announced today. 

Reynolds, a Pittsburgh, Pa., native, was 2-0-1 at the Atlantic 10 Match Play earlier this week, earning La Salle's only point in a 5-1 loss to GW. He earned a half point in the opener versus George Mason and won 1-up over St. Bonaventure.

The freshman had a strong fall semester, averaging 75.4 strokes/round, which was third on the team. 

La Salle returns to action on March 13-14 at the Cape Fear Intercollegiate hosted by Appalachian State.
