Lucy Loughlin has been named Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

The Forest Hill, Md. native made nine saves to help the Explorers grab a 15-8 win over LIU Brooklyn last Thursday night at McCarthy Stadium. "We have seen tremendous growth from Lucy this season," said head coach
Candace Taglianetti Bossell. "I am very proud of her with the work she has been putting in to continue to improve daily for her team. I'm excited to see her earn this huge honor."
