The hosts jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first 17 plus minutes of the game.

La Salle (2-6, 0-1 A-10) was able to close the gap going into the half with a three goal run to close out the first half hour. Junior
Allee Ilgenfritz, Black and Fay each scored un assisted goals in the first half as La Salle went into the half down 5-3.

Black scored her second of the day just over a minute into the second half to further tighten the score and sophomore
Brittany Edwards evened things at 5-5 off an assist from Black with 18:40 left in the contest.

Davidson scored a pair of goals before senior
Allie Burnett and Fay scored a pair of goals to even things at 7-7 with 10:39 left in the contest.

Anna Kelly with 5:56 left to give the Explorers their first lead of the game at 8-7.

The Wildcats scored two goals in the final minute of the game to regain to lead and grab the matchup 9-8.
