PRINCETON, N.J,- Junior
Chris Sanders set a school record and turned in a time good enough to rank him 17
th in the nation in the 800m at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday evening.

Sanders ran a time of 1:47.43 which broke the Marc Cianfrani school record that had been set in 1998 by a second. The Philadelphia native was the third man across the line in the 77 man field and the second college finisher in the race.

Freshman Ben DeVenezia and sophomore
Nick Smart crossed in 37
th and 69
th respectively with times of 1:52.62 and 1:55.98.

Chris Berry was the top finisher in his heat and crossed in 14
th place out of 88 entries in the 5000m race. Berry had a time of 14:35.96 to top the heat by nearly four seconds. Classmates
Dylan Titon (40
th, 14:59.61) and
Bradley Heuer (49
th, 15:06.14) also ran in the event.

Brendan Robertson ran a 3:54.06 in the 1500m for a 52
nd place finish out of the 84 man field. Sophomore
Andrew Gorsuch crossed in 3:58.36 for 72
nd place.

Sophomore Nick LeFavor competed in the 3000m steeplechase crossing in 9:44.06 for 43
rd place overall.

Ryan Magnus ran in the Widner Invitational 5000m on Friday. Corso crossed in 21
st place out of 90 entries with a time of 15:30.92 while Magnus crossed in 30
th in 15:37.12.
