Orlando, Fla. - The La Salle golf team will battle the best teams in the conference when it tees off on Friday morning at 9:45 AM at the Atlantic 10 Championship, hosted at The Villas of Grand Cypress. La Salle is coming off a strong performance at the Finegan Invitational last weekend, shooting a 295 (+15) in its final round.

La Salle owns a season scoring average of 301.3 and is looking to break the school record for scoring average of 307.1.
The Explorers will send the starting lineup of graduate studentÂ

P.J. Acierno and freshmen Andrew Reynolds and
Nick Geiman.
Aizpun is coming off a season average score of 75.47. He boasts three years of conference experience with two years at Mount St. Mary's and one at La Salle, having earned all-conference honors at both institutions. The Barcelona, Spain native finished in third place at the A-10 tournament last year. He was only the second Explorer to earn All-Atlantic 10 honors.
Acierno looks to help La Salle at conference this year after also having experience at the championship level. He currently holds the team's lowest stroke average at 73.95.
Markmann comes in with a 77.57 average and is coming off his lowest round of the season at 74 at the Finegan Invitational. This will be Markmann's third A-10 Championship.
Reynolds is having an outstanding freshman year and is coming off a collegiate-low first round at Finegan. The freshman posted a 70 in the first round and 77 in the second round to tie for ninth and lead the Explorers at Finegan.
Geiman owns an average stroke score of 76.71 and has the ability to shoot low with a season low of 69.

Grand Cypress is a Jack Nicklaus designed course and was rated 2010's best Golf course of the area. The new course par comes out to 72 and stretches 7,024 yards.
