PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle volleyball team will be competing in the Big Five Tournament this weekend, traveling to Penn on Friday and then returning to Tom Gola for day two. The Explorers will face the Quakers on Friday night at 7:00 PM before heading back to their home court to play Temple at 11:00 AM and Villanova at 7:30 PM to wrap up the weekend.
Scouting the Explorers…
- Senior
Ashley Felton ranks second in the Atlantic 10 with a .475 average, while
Catherine Edgington ranks ninth with a .298 hitting percentage.

Devin Corah recorded 19 kills in a match against Providence this weekend and averages 3.60 kills per set. Corah ranks sixth in the A-10 for kills per set and second in service aces, averaging .54 per set.
- Katie Wood recorded 52 assists against Quinnipiac and ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 with a 10.03 assists per set average. Wood posted a season high of 15 digs in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday.

Jensen Sharrits ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 for digs, averaging 5.39 digs per set. Sharrits posted a career-high 27 digs and one ace against Quinnipiac last weekend.Â

Scouting the Quakers…
- The Quakers are 3-5 on the season, with head coach Kerry Carr in her 19
th year leading the program.
- Freshman Caroline Furrer posted 51 kills last weekend at the Penn Invitational last weekend, leading the team to wins over Bucknell, George Mason and Lafayette. She recorded 20 kills in the match against George Mason. Furrer averages 2.77 kills per set for the Quakers.
- Sophomore Courtney Quinn recorded 11 kills and 11 digs over Bucknell to help the Quakers win the match 3-1. Quinn leads the team and averages 2.86 kills per set on the season.
- Sydney Morton also posted 31 assists against Bucknell to guide Penn to a victory and averages 6.97 assists per set this season.

Scouting the Owls…
- The Owls are 4-3 this season, with head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam in his fifth year leading the program.
- Junior Irem Asci posted 52 kills and 33 digs last weekend when the Owls competed in the Cherry and White Challenge. Ascus posted 16 kills, one ace and one block in a win over UNH and leads the team with a .224 attack percentage for the season.
- Asci leads the team in digs, averaging 3.27 sigs per set and tallied a season high 20 digs over UNH. Izzy Rapacz followed not far behind, posting 19 digs against UNH and averages 2.50 dogs per set this season.
- Senior Kirsten Overton recorded 12 kills over UNH and averages a .385 attack percentage for the season.

Scouting the Wildcats…
- The Wildcats are 7-4 on the season, with head coach Josh Steinbeck in his 10
th year at the helm.
- Senior Clair Crutchfield posted 13 kills over Lehigh last weekend, while Allie Loitz posted 12 kills and seven digs for the Wildcats.
- Freshman Allie Olsonoski posted a team high six total blocks over the Mountain Hawks.
- Regan Lough tallied 20 defensive digs against Fairfield last weekend to help the Widlcats bring in a win. Loitz posted three service aces for the Wildcats effort.
