PHILADELPHIA-The La Salle field hockey team will travel to Temple on Sunday to face the Owls at 12:00 pm for their third game of the season.

Scouting the Explorers…
-The Explorers opened their season with a 2-0 victory over Central Michigan, but fell to Vermont 3-2 the following day in overtime.
-Junior
Kendall Kreider scored both goals over Central Michigan, while
Katie O'Grady and Abby Lawrence found the back of the cage against Vermont.
-Goalie
Rachel Hartman posted five saves in the shut out over Central Michigan and four against Vermont. She averages a .750 save percentage and was named to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 team.

Scouting the Owls…
-Temple dropped its past two games against Syracuse and Saint Joseph's University. Syracuse bested the Owls 8-0 and SJU defeated Temple in a 2-1 contest.
-The Owls will host Penn State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. for its first debut on Howarth Field.
-Maris Stern scored Temple's lone goal against the Hawks and averages .50 goals per game.
-Freshman goalie Maddie Lilliock recorded nine saves against Syracuse and six against the Hawks, averaging 7.5 saves per game.
Coming Up…
The Explorers will travel to Towson on Friday to face the Tigers at 6:00 pm in Maryland.
