PHILADELPHIA- The women's lacrosse team announced its fall ball schedule on Friday, which includes two home tournaments and a Big 5 tournament.

The Explorers will host the first of two Oktoberfest Tournaments at McCarthy Stadium this weekend with Iona, Marist, and Long Island University in the mix to kick off the fall season. La Salle will play LIU at 10:40 AM on Saturday, followed up by Iona at 1:44 PM and Marist at 3:30 PM to close out the day.

La Salle will then host Rutgers on Friday, Oct. 2 at 4:30 PM before traveling to Drexel to play in the Drexel tournament on Saturday, Oct. 8. At the Drexel Fall Tournament, the Explorers will face Bucknell, Manhattan, Atlantic 10 rival George Washington and Drexel to complete the day.

The team will then host another Oktoberfest Tournament the following weekend on Saturday, Oct. 15. Beginning at 3:30 PM, La Salle will face Robert Morris, St. Francis and West Chester. On Oct. 22, La Salle will host its alumni game, and the current team will face former members at 4:30 PM at McCarthy Stadium.

The Explorers are slated to play in a Philadelphia Big 5 tournament at Temple on Oct. 23. La Salle will open play against Drexel at 9:10 AM, then follow up with Temple at 12:10 PM, SJU at 12:30 PM and finish the day against Villanova at 2:25 PM.

La Salle will wrap up its fall ball competition on Oct. 30, when the team hosts the Wales National team at McCarthy Stadium at 1:30 PM. The Explorers will then return to action for the spring 2017 season.
