Field Hockey Slated for Pair of Non-Conference Matchups

PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle field hockey team will host their final game of the season at Hank DeVincent field when they welcome Towson for a non-conference meeting. The squad will then travel to Washington, D.C. for their final game of the season against Georgetown.

Scouting the Explorers…
- After notching a pair of goals against Richmond, Mackenzie Karcher sits tied at fourth in the conference with nine goals on the season to lead the Explorers.
- Eileen Dzwill has assisted on six goals this season to lead the team. Karcher, Kendall Kreider and April Stein have added two assists each.
- Emma Provost has averaged a .736 save percentage through 15 game appearances. She ranks second in the A-10 with five shutouts on the season.

Scouting the Tigers…
- Towson is 1-14 this season, with the team's only win coming from a 4-0 shutout over LIU Brooklyn.
-The Explorers fell to Towson in a 2-1 overtime contest a season ago. La Salle will look to overcome the Tigers in the upcoming weekend to avenge the loss.
- Katie McNeel leads the team with four goals, while Kendra Sykes has contributed three this season as the pair leads the team.
- Emilee Woodall has notched 158 saves to average a .752 save percentage in her 15 game appearances.

Scouting the Hoyas…
- The Hoyas will also conclude the 2017 season with the clash against La Salle for the second year in a row. Georgetown fell at Hank DeVincent a season ago and will look to split the series with a win at Cooper Field.
- Cami Osbourne has notched ten goals to lead the team in scoring for a total of 22 points on the season. Katie Maransky leads the team eight assists this season in her 17 game appearances.
- Chloe Verweild has made 93 saves while allowing 45 goals for a 3.31 goals against average in her 17 games in the net.
