NEW YORK, NY - The La Salle men's soccer team (4-6-1, 0-2 A-10) fell, 1-0, to Fordham (7-2-2, 2-0 A-10) on Wednesday night. The Rams are considered one of the strongest teams in the conference.

Despite the loss on the scoreboard, La Salle generally matched up well with Fordham. The Explorers outshot the Rams 12-7 and had five shots on goal to the Rams' four. Corners and fouls were both equal.

The one goal the Explorers allowed pinballed around in front until one of the Fordham players headed it in.

Sixtus Akinlosotu had two shots on goal. Three others had one each.

In net, Mark Tobin made three saves. 

The Explorers continue A-10 play when they host Rhode Island this Saturday at 7:00 PM.
