ERIE – The La Salle men's water polo team is reading itself for the Mid Atlantic Water Polo Conference West tournament this weekend in Erie, Pa. The Explorers finished in a three-way tie for third in the conference with a 4-3 MAWPC record. Due to tiebreaker rules, they are seeded fifth in the upcoming
playoffs.

The Explorers will face fourth-seeded Connecticut College, a team they fell to by one goal during the regular season. In the game, the Camels scored the game-winner with 14 seconds remaining. The Explorers had a chance to tie the game, but came up just short against the home team. Daniel Domotor and Jeff Brady led the way in scoring with four and three goals respectively. The duo finished the season tied in scoring with 41 goals each.

La Salle will have a chance for redemption in a neutral pool this Saturday at 10:30 AM. The winner will face the winner of Washington and Jefferson and host Gannon at 6:00 PM later in the day.
