PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's golf team finished up its fall season on Saturday at the City Six Championships, hosted by Drexel at the Union League Golf Club.
The Explorers were led by freshman
David Kim, who shot four-over par 74. His play on the par-4 holes was superb, finishing tied for second in the field at even par.Â
Junior Nick German finished the 18-hole event at one-under par on the par-5 holes, closing at 77 overall. Freshmen
Ron Fischang and
Zaffar Sikkander shot 79 and 80, respectively, while junior
Nick Gruber (83) and senior
Brandon Raihl (83) rounded out the La Salle contingent.
As a team, the Explorers finished sixth at 310, five shots behind Villanova and Saint Joseph's. Drexel earned the team win at 288, with the Dragons' Aaron Fricke winning the individual title at one-under par.
