MADISON, Wisc. - The Explorers' three-game winning streak stalled on Saturday afternoon when the Blue and Gold (4-4) fell to the Wisconsin Badgers (5-3) at the Kohl Center in Madison. La Salle trailed early on but clawed its way back to a two-point game in the second half before the Badgers pulled away towards the end of the third quarter.

The Explorers shot just 30.5 percent from the floor, but managed to get to the line 24 times (making 19 shots).

Amy Griffin led the team in scoring with 19 points. She made six of 20 shots, including two from deep. Griffin filled the stat sheet with five rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. She was five for six from the foul line.

Junior guard Adreana Miller had 18 points of her own to go along with seven rebounds.

Redshirt freshman Shaquana Edwards scored in double figures for the fourth time this season with 11 points. 

The Explorers will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host Rider at 7:00 PM.
