PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's basketball team (4-5) fell behind early and couldn't claw back in a 76-55 loss to the Rider Broncs (2-6) on Wednesday night at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center.

Amy Griffin registered her fourth game with at least 20 points, leading all scorers with 26 points.
Shalina Miller ripped down a career-high 10 rebounds and added 10 points to finish with the first double-double of her career.

The Explorers fell behind early in the game but had a strong 2
nd quarter to cut their deficit to three points at 32-29 at the half. It wasn't until the 4
th quarter that Rider really took control of the game, outscoring La Salle by 14 in the final stanza.

La Salle held a 39-28 rebounding advantage but were plagued by 20 turnovers, which Rider converted to 25 points.Â

Kamila Hoskova dropped 23 points to lead four Broncs in double figures and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Jaiden Morris added 15 points off the bench while Lexi Posset poured in a season-high 13 points to go along with four assists.

Stella Johnson added 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting as Rider shot 51. 9 percent (28-for-54) from the field in the game.

La Salle is on the road for their next two contests, beginning with a Saturday matchup at North Texas. The Explorers then play at Delaware State on December 17 following final exams.Â
