NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- Senior Anna Gordon earned La Salle lacrosse's second A-10 weekly award of the season after helping La Salle to a pair of wins against Central Connecticut and Iona at home last week.

Gordon earned Defensive Player of the Week after she scooped up eight ground balls on the week. The Linwood N.J. product also caused four turnovers and won four draws in the 2-0 week.

The defensive player scored a goal per contest on the week, going 2 for 3 on shooting to average a .667 percentage.

Gordon and the rest of the team will be back in action to pursue their third straight win against High Point on Friday, March 24. Draw is slated for 7:00 PM at McCarthy Stadium.
