RICHMOND, Va. - The La Salle baseball team was defeated by Atlantic 10 opponent VCU in the third of a three-game series on Sunday, 3-0.

Leadoff hitter Austin Constantini was a bright spot for the La Salle offense, going 3-for-3 with a walk. Constantini also came in to pitch a scoreless 1.2 innings, recording one strikeout. 

Five other hitters recorded a base hit for the Blue and Gold. Brian Tagoe and Ryan Guckin each doubled.

Jorge Jimenez was also impressive in a relief role, throwing 2.1 shutout innings and striking out three batters.

La Salle is back at it on Tuesday when the Explorers travel to Lehigh for a non-conference game at 3:00 PM. Following that game, they'll face Fordham in a three-game away series over the weekend.
