PHILADELPHIA - Frank McCloskey, a 1957 graduate of La Salle College and a member of the men's rowing team during his time on campus, passed away on Thursday, April 27.

McCloskey, who studied business administration and accounting, was a key member of the varsity eight boats that won the gold medal at both the 1956 and 1957 Dad Vail Regattas.

Following graduation, McCloskey remained engaged with the rowing community and volunteered, along with his wife Kathy, at the Dad Vail for over 40 years.

A memorial service has yet to be announced.
