PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team looks to continue a three-game winning streak this week as they host Drexel at McCarthy Stadium on Thursday before a visit to Farleigh Dickinson on Sunday.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle has won three straight games after beginning the year with a 3-3 tie against St. John's on August 18. The Explorers haven't allowed a goal since the Red Storm scored in the 72nd minute, which is a stretch of over 298 minutes of game action.
-Goalkeeper
Larisa Zambelli was named Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after anchoring the La Salle defense on the way to a pair of shutout wins last week. The redshirt senior made six saves and now has a stellar 0.76 goals-against average and 15 saves through four games this season.
-Redshirt junior
Madison Bower tallied three assists last week and is now tied for the A-10 lead in assists (3) and points (8). Senior
Kristin Haugstad has six points on the season thanks to three goals.
-Freshman
Amirah Louketis scored her first collegiate goal in the win over Iona on Thursday.

Scouting the Dragons
-Drexel went 1-1 over the weekend at the Loyola Invitational with a 1-0 shutout of Loyola Chicago on Friday and a 3-0 loss to DePaul on Sunday.
-Vanessa Kara and Shaelyn McCarty were named to the All-Tournament team for their performances over the weekend. Kara leads the team with four points (two goals) while McCarty scored the game-winning goal against Loyola on Friday.
-Thursday's game will be the 12
th meeting all-time between La Salle and Drexel. The Explorers lead the all-time series 9-1-1 after a 3-2 win in August of last season.
-Friday's game in the Loyola Invitation was the beginning of a five-game road trip for the Dragons, which concludes at Monmouth on September 8.

Scouting the Knights
-FDU went 1-1 last week, losing 3-2 at William & Mary as the Tribe scored the game-winner in the 88
th minute before knocking off Rider 2-0 on Sunday.
-Elma Kolenovic scored both goals for the Knights in the win over Rider and leads the team with three scores through the first four games.
-Freshman goalkeeper Cassandra Marcoux made her collegiate debut against Rider and registered three saves to get her first career win and shutout.
-Jesse Reinhardt scored on Thursday to become the eighth player in program history to reach the 40-point plateau. The senior sits seventh in school history with 41 career points and is three assists shy of becoming the all-time leader.
