HAMILTON, N.Y. - The La Salle University men's golf team finished up its opening tournament of the fall season on Sunday, closing in 15th place at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational.
Freshman Ronald Fischang was the top finisher for the Explorers, concluding his first collegiate tournament with a final-round 77 to place in a tie for 41st. Freshman

Nick Geiman (249) were the other four competitors for La Salle at the event.Â
North Dakota State earned the team title by two strokes over Cornell, while Penn's Josh Goldenberg earned medalist honors by shooting 215 over three rounds.Â
La Salle continues the fall campaign with Binghamton University's Mathews Auto Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 1-2.
