PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle field hockey team will open conference play this weekend when the team welcomes Lock Haven and Saint Louis for a pair of games over the weekend. The Explorers are slated to face Lock Haven at 3:00 p.m. on Friday before meeting with the Billikens on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers…
- La Salle is on a three-game win streak after winning over Ball State in a 1-0 contest last Friday. The team will look to continue their streak to get conference play off on a high note.
- Against Ball State, senior
Jess Hoffman scored the only goal with just under two minutes left in regulation to capture the victory in an exciting end.
- On the season, goalkeeper
Emma Provost has made 19 saves and allowed just three goals to average a .864 save percentage.

Katie O'Grady has contributed two defensive saves this season to help La Salle to their winning record.
Summer Pierson has also contributed one.

Scouting the Billikens…
- The Billikens have recorded a 3-2 record on the season, posting wins over Ball State and LIU Brooklyn, who La Salle met earlier this year. The team will face Saint Joseph's on Friday, Sept. 15 before heading to La Salle on Sunday.
- Carly Kissinger leads the team in scoring, tallying three goals and two assists on the season. Morgan Crowe has also added two assists for the Billkens.
- In her six shots on goal, Katie Moss has scored twice for the Billkens to maintain their winning record.
