LEWISBURG, Pa. - The La Salle men's water polo team finished out the Bucknell Invitational on Sunday. The Explorers lost both games, first falling 13-1 to Johns Hopkins and then 18-10 to Gannon.
Ash Lyne scored the only goal in the morning game against Hopkins. The Explorer defense held the score at 3-1 until halftime when its opponents pulled away.
In game two, scoring was very spread out. Brady netted a team-high three goals while
Derek DeFusco had two. Five others scored one each. Brady and
Patrick Dougherty each had four kickouts drawn.
The Explorers will play a home game on Monday night at 6:45 against Villanova at Kirk Pool. Following that game, they will face off with the Greater Philadelphia Water Polo club. The game is part of La Salle's fall sports tailgate series with food and giveaways before the game.
