PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle field hockey team will head south for a pair of games this weekend. The Explorers will continue Atlantic 10 play when the team clashes with Davidson on Friday, Sept. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in Davidson, N.C. They will then face William and Mary on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. in Williamsburg, Va. for a nonconference meeting.
Scouting the Explorers…
- La Salle is off to a 4-2 start and split Atlantic 10 play 1-1 last weekend with a loss against Lock Haven in overtime. The Blue and Gold faced Saint Louis for a 2-0 win most recently.
- The team has found a balanced offensive effort this season, with seven different Explorers tallying goals, including newcomers
Rialee Allen and
Amber Blackshear.

Summer Pierson and
Katie O'Grady have each contributed a pair of defensive saves as the Explorers have outscored their opponents 7-5 so far this season.
- In goal,
Emma Provost has tallied 37 saves to average a .881 save percentage through the first six games. Provost currently leads the A-10 with her save percentage. Â

Scouting the Wildcats…
- The Wildcats have yet to win a contest this season, most recently suffering a 10-0 decision against No. 7 North Carolina. La Salle topped Davidson 2-1 in the last meeting between the two teams a season ago.
- Three 'Cats have netted goals for the team on the season. Hannah Fisher, Anna Brewer and Caroline Stanly have eachscored.Â
- Courtney Byler leads the team with two assists on the season, while Leigha Nortier and Lauren Gampper have each added one.
- In goal, Sarah Zeszotarski has made 31 saves on the season while allowing 15 goals in her four starts.Â

- William and Mary is off to a 5-3 opening this season and currently sits at 18 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches Poll.
- The Tribe is coming off a pair of losses to No.10 Boston College and No.5 Virginia and will look to snap their losing streak as they return home against La Salle.
- Cammie Lloyd leads the team with five goals on the season and has added three assists. Woodard Hooper has contributed four goals on the season, with three being game-winners.
- In goal, Morgan Connor has posted 47 saves across her eight game appearances to average a .712 save percentage.
