WASHINGTON, Pa. - The men's water polo team recently notched two wins at home in matches against Villanova club and the Greater Philadelphia water polo club last Monday. The Explorers will hope to carry the momentum into the weekend when they get their first taste of Mid Atlantic Water Polo Conference play. La Salle is set to play four games in two days as the Blue and Gold start on Saturday with McKendree (9:00 AM) and Mercyhurst (2:00 PM) and then finish the weekend Sunday with Salem International (9:15 AM) and Monmouth (1:00 PM).
Jeff Brady leads the team in goals this season with 12 on 46 shots.
Daniel Domotor is just behind him with 11. Domotor, a standout freshman, also has a team-high seven assists.
Patrick Dougherty is third in goals scored with four.
On the defensive end,
Cole Strohson leads the team in steals with 16. Brady, Domotor,
Ash Lyne, and
Trevin Zweifel all have eight.
Owain Llewellyn and
Cameron Schiable have split time in goal this season. Schiable leads with 59 saves while Llewellyn has 16.
