PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle field hockey team will travel for a pair of games this weekend, beginning with UMass on Friday, Sept. 29. The Atlantic 10 meeting will open at 3:00 PM.
La Salle will then face Siena for a nonconference game at 12:00 PM on Sunday, Oct. 1.
Scouting the Explorers…
- La Salle leads the conference with four shutouts in overall statistics, with one of those shutouts being a 3-0 win over A-10 rival Davidson.

Mackenzie Karcher leads the Blue and Gold with two goals on the season, while nine total Explorers have scored to earn the team's 5-3 record.

Summer Pierson and
Megan Kida have recorded a pair of defensive saves each to rank third in the A-10.
- With 44 saves on the season,
Emma Provost ranks third in conference statistics. Her 6.29 saves per game averages ranks second of all A-10 goalkeepers.

Scouting the Minutewomen…
- The A-10 defending champions are 7-3 this season, most recently posting a 2-1 victory over Lock Haven. The team is 2-1 in A-10 play after falling to Saint Francis last weekend.
- Sarah Hawkshaw sits at second in conference statistics in goals, with seven on the season. Hawkshaw also ranks second with an average of .78 goals per game.
- Goalkeeper Emily Hazard has tallied 29 saves over her nine appearances in the net to sit at eighth in the conference. She has added two shutouts on the year.
