YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- The La Salle volleyball team continued their hot streak on Monday, Sept. 4 as the team captured its seventh straight win over Youngstown State. The Explorers swept the Penguins in a 3-0 final score to end an undefeated weekend.

In a well balanced offensive effort, three Explorers posted double digit kill performances to lift La Salle over Youngstown State.
Devin Corah and
Bryanna Davis each tallied 14, while
Samantha Graver added 11 of her own.
Reilly Lowe also posted seven in the balanced win.

Setter
Kathryn Wood put up 44 assists and three kills as the Explorers overcame the Penguins, while
Alyssa Cianciulli contributed a match-high four aces.

Graver posted a double-double performance with 11 digs to go with her 11 kills.
Jensen Sharrits contributed 24 of La Salle's 54 total digs.
Catherine Edgington and Graver posted two block assists defensively.

With the win, the team improved to a 7-1 record on the season. The Explorers will return to the court on Friday, Sept. 8 when they face Navy in the Valley Forge Sports Invitational at Tom Gola Arena.
