BRONX, N.Y. – The La Salle University women's soccer team (8-6-1, 3-5 A-10) dropped a Sunday afternoon game to Fordham (9-6-1, 6-1-1 A-10), 1-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The first half was a defensive battle, as both teams failed to score.
• Roughly 10 minutes into the second half, the Rams converted a header off of a corner kick for the lone goal of the game. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• In goal, sophomore keeper Claudia Jenkins made five saves, allowing just one goal.

UP NEXT:
The Explorers return home for a Thursday night matchup on Senior Day. La Salle will honor Jesse Bareilles, Maci Bower, Chloe Lewis, Marcela Robinson, and Taylor Sergiacomi before the game. The matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
