PHILADELPHIA - Two of the top offenses in the country square off on Tuesday, as the La Salle University field hockey team will conclude its home schedule with a non-conference tilt against Rider at Hank DeVincent Field. The game will air live on ESPN+ (subscription required) and is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE EXPLORERS
- Senior Day was held on Sunday afternoon at Hank DeVincent Field, with La Salle picking up a 3-2 win over Davidson.
- Senior Logan Oh scored the game winner, while junior Amanda Chapin and sophomore Taylor Hafer also registered goals.
- Oh, and classmates Mackenzie Karcher and Megan Kida, were honored in a ceremony prior to the start of the contest.
- La Salle is averaging 2.73 goals per game, which ranks 21st amongst all NCAA Division I teams.
- Last season, the Explorers took a 3-2 overtime decision from the Broncs, with Karcher scoring a pair of goals in the game.
- On the year, Oh leads the team with eight assists and 20 points, while Oh, Karcher and sophomore Rialee Allen each have six goals to pace the squad.
SCOUTING RIDER
- The Broncs enter Tuesday's contest on a six-game winning streak and are 10-5 on the season.
- Included in that group of victories was a 2-1, overtime win over VCU on Oct. 3.
- Tess Coorens has a team-best 12 goals to pace an offense that ranks 12th in the country in goals per game.
