PHILADELPHIA - Despite rain and wind throughout the morning and afternoon, the Head of the Schuylkill River went on with minimal affect on the race day schedule Saturday. The only change to the schedule was the cancellation of the first five races in the morning, which meant the La Salle men's and women's freshman/novice 4+ boats did not compete. 

Of those boats that did take to the water, the men's Club Championship 8+ boat, with Ryan Kearney as the stroke, finished 10th out of 44 teams in the race. The Explorers defeated Pitt, Lafayette, Saint Joseph's and Villanova en route to the top-10 finish.
