PHILADELPHIA - First-year head women's lacrosse coach Katie Rhodes Abbott announced her team's 2019 schedule on Thursday. La Salle will host nine teams at McCarthy Stadium over the course of the year, including the season opener against LIU Brooklyn on Saturday, Feb. 16.

The game against the Blackbirds starts a three-game homestand for the Explorers that features contests against Delaware (Feb. 20) and Manhattan (Feb. 23). Also included in the home non-league schedule is a tilt with city rival Temple on Tuesday, March 5.

A trip to Maryland to take on Mount St. Mary's on March 1 is the first of three trips during the non-conference portion of the schedule. La Salle will also play at Marist on March 9 and at Radford three days later. 

Atlantic 10 play begins on Friday, March 22 with a home tilt against George Washington at McCarthy Stadium. The Explorers will host defending regular season champion Richmond on Sunday, April 7, and the other co-champion from last year, UMass, the following Friday, April 12.

The Atlantic 10 Championship will be hosted by George Mason University and will be held on April 25-28.
