PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University women's track and field team will travel to the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. The meet will be held in Kingston, R.I., and will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

HOW THEY GOT HERE
The Explorers have taken part in seven meets so far this season. Last weekend, three track performers competed at the Fastrack National Invitational, with
Desirae Osley and
Ifetayo Tyler posting top-10 finishes. Prior to that,
Jessica Bryant led La Salle with a win in the long jump at the Villanova Invitational. In total, La Salle has posted seven individual victories on the season.
2017 A-10 RECAP
La Salle placed seventh overall as a team at the 2017 A-10 Indoor Championships. Tyler led the way with a second place finish in the 800-meter run. Bryant finished fifth in the long jump and ninth in the triple jump, while
Kaleah Miller placed eighth in the long jump. Osley was tenth in the 400-meter dash, while
Ariel Mitchell finished ninth in the 60-meter hurdles.
WHO TO WATCH
Bryant has shined in the field for the Explorers this season, posting the second-best mark in the A-10 for the long jump and fourth-best in the triple jump. The sophomore broke the school record in the triple jump twice and has accumulated four wins in the five meets she has competed in. Miller also has been strong in the field, with the third-best A-10 mark in the long jump.
Tyler has led the way for the runners and owns the fourth-best time in the A-10 in the 800 meters this season. Sophomore
Grace Mancini has also been strong in the mile and 3,000 meters. Meanwhile, Mitchell currently has the fifth-best time in the 60-meter dash.
