PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's lacrosse team has been picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic 10 this season. The Explorers received 45 total votes in the poll.

Last season, the Blue and Gold managed at 7-11 overall record with a 3-6 record in the Atlantic 10, tying for sixth place in the final regular season conference standings.

The Massachusetts Minutewomen were predicted to win the conference with 96 votes (six first place votes). La Salle opposes UMass on the road this season, traveling to play the defending champs on April 8.

The Explorers start their season this Friday when they host Fresno State at 4:00 PM at McCarthy Stadium.
