KINGSTON, R.I. – The La Salle University baseball team fell on the road to Rhode Island, 7-1, in Atlantic 10 Conference action on Sunday.
It was the 11th consecutive victory for the Rams, the longest active streak in the nation. Rhode Island scored four runs in the second inning to take command early and added two runs in the seventh before La Salle got on the board.
The Explorers pushed one across in the eighth when senior

Chase Arnold on an RBI single to left field.
Rhode Island tacked on one more run in the bottom of the eighth, leading to the 7-1 final.
Senior
Brian Dudeck went 2-for-4 with a triple to lead the Explorers. Freshman
Colin Scanlon got the start on the mound before handing the ball to
Nick Mancuso, who allowed just two runs and two hits with four strikeouts over 5.2 relief innings.
La Salle will remain on the road for a three-game series at Richmond beginning on Friday at 3 p.m.
