Rowing Programs Add 20 Student-Athletes for 2018-19

Crew

Men's Rowing | July 19, 2018

PHILADELPHIA - La Salle University head rowing coach Tom Madden has announced that 20 student-athletes will join the men's and women's teams in the fall. Eleven men, including six from the state of New Jersey, and nine women comprise the class.

Madden on men's rowing recruiting class: "The Class of 2022 is a competitive group who we will be challenging to continue some really positive momentum that the team gained in 2018. To be able to add these rowers and coxswains to a young and hungry team should increase the competitiveness of the entire group."

Madden on women's rowing recruiting class: " The Class of 2022 is one of the most talented groups to come to women's rowing in a number of years. As the program continues to focus on lightweight women's rowing, this class provides needed lightweight depth and experienced coxswains."

Both teams will begin the 2018-19 campaigns in the fall. The full schedule will be available at goexplorers.com in the coming weeks.
