PHILADELPHIA – During the seventh minute of play, redshirt-junior Marcela Robinson took a header off of a corner kick by sophomore Jenna Soriano to give La Salle University women's soccer (3-0-0) the only goal they'd need to take down Manhattan (0-1-0).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Just 6:32 seconds into the game, Soriano took a corner kick for the Explorers. Soriano's kick was perfectly placed for Robinson to use her head to find the back of the net.
• The Explorers had a few opportunities to add another goal, however the Jaspers' keeper made some fantastic saves.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore keeper Claudia Jenkins picked up her third shutout in as many games, making one save.
• The goal marked Robinson's first on the campaign, while Soriano's assist was her second.

La Salle will return to McCarthy Stadium on Monday to take on city rival, Drexel. The game is slated for 7 p.m.
